How do you get the smell of gasoline out of your clothes?
Question:I've washed them once but it stays in.
Answers:
Gasoline Stain Removal from Clothing
To remove gasoline from clothing, first place the stained area face down on paper towels. Apply dry-cleaning solvent to the back side of stain, replacing the paper towels frequently. Allow to dry, then rub in liquid detergent or dampen the stained area with water and rub with bar soap or detergent paste. Rinse then launder. If any odor remains, add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle of you washer, as this should take out any remaining smell. =)
I have found there is nothing better than Clean Breeze Tide and Clean Breeze Downy.
Best way is to hang them outside in the fresh air, the smell will evaporate with the fresh air. I hope you did´t wash them in the washing machine, because if you do the next load of clothes you put in will come out smelling the same.
if you already washed them this is how mine worked i put some bleach in it and i took it out and put it in the dryer and when i took it out it was gone
Try mixing some lemon juice and liquid laundry detergent in a spray bottle. Here's a formula. 1/4 cup lemon juice. 1/4 cup laundry detergent. 1and1/2 cups warm water. Spray your clothes down with this mixture and let them soak in warm water in the washing machine before starting the wash. I hope this will help.
