Can you use car wax on the floor?
Question:I want to wax the floor but have never done it before and was wondering if you can use car wax on the floor? The kind you put on then wipe off. I can't find floor wax anywhere.

I did it once, by accident. one of those liquid car wash / wax all in one type. we just bought it and it got knocked off the counter and what a mess. had to wash the floor. it was so much effort, haven't done it again. But the shine was incredible! and very slick, after it was dry even. (my floor was a linoleum type)

I don't know, but I remember when my mom used paste wax on our dining room floor. We all nearly broke our necks it was so slippery. There are lots of good products out there that will help keep your wood floor shiny that don't require you to make it wax slippery.
use wd-40 it gives the wax look without harmful build up dry it and it will be shiny but not slippery
