Calling all domestic goddesses! our washing machine has died....?
Question:until we can get a new one
whats the best way to handwash clothes in the kitchen sink / bath?
Answers:
bath is better...you can do more then. Just use a little washing powder and don't make the water too hot. It's best to have two people to squeeze all the water out. Make sure you rinse the clothes properly first though.
Well, I could tell you, but as you asked for Goddesses, you're gonna have to wait for someone else...
when ours broke we put the kids in the bath tub added some dirty laundry added the detergent and made the kids walk and splash for fun for about ten minutes and then rinsed the clothes that was the hard part rinsing and ringing not the washing.
Put all your dirty clothes in the bath, add water and washing powder, put on some plastic boots and step on it till its clean, rinks it with the shower and step on it at the same time, after that, just dry it. But be careful don't slip. By the way I am no goddess, just a dude washing in a dude's way.
Bath get in with your feet and then u and your gf can twist to wring out ul have fun as well
laundrette is best place
omg! that word domestic goddess was in this book I have.
I guess you would fill up your sink and wash each one seperately except you have to target things that need extra attention. I also hear you should handwash your undies for those who buy nice underwear.
Go to the launderette!Much easier. However,if there is not one in the vicinity, hand hot water and biological powder.Soak for as long as possible, rub between hands especially the stained bits, then rinse twice until water runs clear.Good luck, marigolds not only protect your hands they also help rubbing on the hard bits.
