Well, they are way over priced, and I used one a few times, have see better, but the shocker of was, I took my Kirby to get a new cord and repair shop owner and I discussed the Dysons ansd told me that the Dyson had more problems, I said" really I can't believe it," He said" come over to the back repair room and look" well There were8 lined up to be repaired. Different price ones , different colors. all with problems..So there u go Pricey means O.
like the style but dislike the ridiculous prices!
I quiet like them but have had better.
Like..my Dyson Animal is brilliant...but I agree they are over priced.
I'm just thankful mine have lasted!
They're expensive, but it's worth it.
I have one.
They NEVER loose suction. (no matter what you suck up)
& They are really easy to use.
I LOVE mine. Two of my co-workers have Dysons as well and they absolutely love them. The only complaint I have is the telescopic handle. It's a bit cumbersome and takes some getting used to. Otherwise it's the Benz of vacuums.
I love them. They are expensive but worth it, especially if you have animals.
I rate them despite the expense, particularly good at picking up pet hair etc.
I think their nice but severely overpriced! I'll stick to my Hoover!
Dyson is the best! Money well spent I think. Mine picks up everything. Easy to use and maintain.
Like. Expensive but last and do the job.
i have a eureka the boss smartvac it outcleans dyson about 60% and it way cheaper i have 3 cats and it vacums better then dyson i think
Well I was at school with the bloke, as was my brother, and personally I don't like them. Dyson was a better painter, although his money would say otherwise, but fair play, he's successful.
Since he sacked his British workforce and moved his operation to the Far East, I would not buy his product for 10p. Cheaper and better vacuums from Argos.(UK)
They are great for the job BUT as a previous worker for a very large parcel company I'm unsure about their reliability. This is due to the amount of spare parts shipped out to Dyson customers either to replace or repair ???
35 years of wasting money on various vacuums until i bought my Dyson Animal 4 years ago.Never looked back.
There's a vacuum repair shop near where I live, and we asked them if Dysons were ok,..they showed us the back room which was full of dysons waiting for repair.
I like it BUT plastic is so fragile
We thought that if we paid more for our vacuum, maybe we'd stop having to replace them every few years. We've had our Dyson (Animal model) for about 3 years now. Motor is still fine, suction works well (important with 3 cats around). The extension hose recently ripped, but that isn't an expensive part to replace.
Some dislikes: it doesn't fit under beds/coffee tables very well; canister has to be emptied at least twice during each vacuum session (despite doing it twice a week); price (which has stayed the same since we bought ours).
Likes: if you accidentally suck up something you shouldn't have (Barbie shoes, legos, etc.), it's easy to find the missing item--you can take it apart and put it back together without any issues; comes with a few different handy accessories; clear canister; filters are rinsable.
not only is my dyson vacuum cleaner superb, but I also have a Dyson washing machine and it's fantastic, cost more than most, but is excellent.
I have a dyson & a Vax personally have found the Vax is the best.Agree with flopsy about washer i have the dyson Memory CR 01 cost a bomb but saves a fortune on electric
& is the best washer I have ever had.
dislike BIG TIME it ate my carpet so i kicked it right out i love my henry xx
I have two Dyson's, the first DC04 though old is excellent, but the DC07 animal is rubbish, and doesn`t do its job. I think its like anything else nowdays, progress means going backwards, i think it would be easier for me to use a old fashioned carpet sweeper than the Dyson 07 animal. I have to say I wouldn`t touch a Dyson again.
hate with a passion, with good reason there made to brake I've had the little one and the bent end has broke 5 times and at 32.99 apiece i could of brought another hoover
They are utter cr@p.
I've managed to break 2, just by using them!
When I called customer service I got no help at all. They are a triumph of style over substance, they look good but put them to work and they break. As for not losing suction, that is utter bollocks. Compare a new one to one that is a year old and you'll see what I mean.
Give me a Henry any day, tough, reliable, simple design and it will pick up anything at only 1/3 the price of a Dyson.
I like mine, but they are expensive
I love the way it cleans efficiently BUT it's too big to carry comfortably and the strengthening tube in the vacuum tube is so long that it's impossible to use in small areas. You can tell it was designed by a man. Having said that, I wouldn't swap it because it is so good at what it does and is easy to do repairs on yourself because of the easy availability of spare parts.
Love it, yet 2 motors have been replaced under warranty and had to pay to have a full service £60 which then replaced the pipe, filters and motor again! but still sticking with it as with 2 big dogs, 1 child plus a fully grown male couldn't do without it.lol
The only thing I liked about my Dyson cylinder cleaner was the way it sat on the stairs. I hated everything else about it and now I have a different cleaner.
