Using bleach to clean my aluminium window mold spots?
Question:I have little black mold spots on my aluminum windows from the condensation, and I couldn't wipe them off with a cloth, can I use bleach?
Answers:
Yah, bleach is for everything :D
Just don't ingest or inhale it LOL! especially not with ammonia, then its deadly xD
Anyways yeah, its a good disinfectant and will kill/destroy the mold without (ironically) bleaching the window if you don't leave it on too long. Just put it on a towel or something.
EDIT: a better way is to mix baking soda with bleach. You really don't want to go out and buy all those expensive cleaner products. It won't damage the aluminum. If you're really uncertain to try it, use toothpaste, its also a good cleaner but really mild.
Bleach would kill the mold; if that is what it is, but may also damage the aluminum.
Also, you problem might be tarnish, rather than mold.
So try a polish that is meant for aluminum first.
I would get the Clorox Wipes or Lysol Wipes. They work really great, and they will not cause unwanted things to be bleached. You could also use the Clorox Cleaner spray... but that does have bleach in it, so you might find that things that you don't want to have bleached will get bleached...
