Can ordinary detergents be used for front loading tumble-wash washing machines?

Question:i mean detergents like wheel, rin, henko etc, which are not specifically manufactured for tumble-was machines?also, can liquid detergents like genteel, ezee, etc be used for silks and other delicate clothes in a tumble-wash machine?

Answers:
I use regular detergents and they work well (although I do have to use an extra rinse cycle and use half as much detergent).

Give it a try. Use very little detergent. An extra rinse is a good idea. And after a while if the clothes aren't clean enough, you can switch to a high-efficiency detergent.
I have used both in my front load machine, and they work the same . The only difference is with "regular" detergent I use 1/4 cap instead. Any brand is acceptable.
