What is a good and fast way to get rid of dust in my room?

Get rid of all the dust collectors. Then all you would have to do is sweep.
Use your tongue. I agree with the above poster. Or better still, use someone elses. Remember mouthwash afterwards.
I left my house get way out of hand, and I used two methods. One was o put a box fan in a window on a mild day and shake out things in front of it, to blow the dust out the window. The other was to strap a couple of 20 inch by 20 inch furnace filters in front of a box fan to catch the dust (if I was doing it in the winter).
I would say pledge or enddust, duh!
I just saw this on How Clean Is Your House earlier! You make this yourself, then you don't have to worry about sprays getting into your lungs and that "unnatural" smell. Using equal parts warm water and pure lemon oil, add lint-free cloths like 3M makes) into solution and then allow them to dry. Store them in a glass jar with the lid shut tight. It takes all the dust off, leaves furniture gleaming, and smells great!
use the hose to your vacumm sweeper and suck up all the dust or wipe it down with furniture polish and a micro fiber dust cloth
use a fan to blow it all on the floor sweep it all up

Get off the computer and dust everything. Use a dusting brush for the furniture, a damp rag for some items and wash what can be washed by hand. Windex the glass surfaces and pictures.
i aways do it one of two ways:
1.get a slightly damp cloth and wipe all the dusty surfaces, the dust will stick to the cloth. then wipe it down with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture!
2. i use the small round brush attachment on my vacuum cleaner to suck up all the dust!
both ways are fine and you shouldnt have much dust being released back into the air like you would with a normal duster!
