any tip of bug spray would work. make sure to kill them all. they Lay eggs where they ****.
there is a fruit fly attractant that will enable those flies to be trapped and killed.
perhaps you should clean your house first. i don't think flies like clean house.
I usually just clean the whole kitchen very good and take out any trash. Then spray Lysol and scrub the tables and kitchen floor. Now that there is no food around to eat they will die within a day and they also don't like the Lysol.
Try this homemade fruit fly trap -- Cut three or four inches off the top of a plastic coke bottle. Turn the top part that you cut off upside down and place back on bottle. Put 2 or 3 banana peels in the bottle. The flies can get in but cant get back out.
