How do i get diesel and it's smell out of jeans and t-shirt?

Question:we drive a big truck and the pump got stuck and got my husbands clothes, jeans, t-shirt and socks

Answers:
I'm an old truck driver who was always getting 5Th wheel grease and diesel on my clothes, I used straight pine sol. Now, not any imitation!!, The real PINE SOL. Pour it directly on the spots, rub it in with your hands, and dump in the washer, using the hottest water. You may have to do it a couple of times, But I always got it out. I am only 5ft 3 in tall so I got a lot of grease on me. I also used baby whip es to pretreat cloths on the road. Those two things saved a lot of clothes and shoes. Good Luck! Kathy west

try a degreaser and oxy clean.
Everyone know that baking soda will remove almost any smell out of clothes.
This is right down my alley! My husband and I work for a towing company and he is always covered with grease and smelling of diesel! He wears jeans and t-shirt everyday!

I pretreat his clothes with "Shout" for grease. I wash with Hot water, regular detergent (Tide), and bleach for colors. Not only does it work but it doesn't harm your clothing. My husband wears the same clothes he did a year ago and still looks great (first thing in the morn. before he gets to work!).
