Removing wax from clothing.?

Question:I wanted to share with you my account of removing crayon wax from clothing. After washing my clothes and without klnowing it, I tossed my clothes to be dried in the dryer (with a hidden blue crayon) when removed the clothes were covered in blue wax crayon. I was devastated. I took some of the suggestions I found in my search on the internet and this site. Here are my results that worked for me: I rewashed the clothes in the washer on hot water wash with cold rinse using detergent each time. I was amazed at the results. The wax came out!!!! I know there are clothes that can not be washed this way but it sure beats trying to ironing them or scraping off the wax. I am sure it would work on any kind of wax, wax is wax. Give it a try if this happens to you. I would love to hear from you if you tried it and it worked for you.

Answers:
I have never tried the following 2 ways but they say it works.
If the wax is thick place the clothing in the freezer at least over night. this will make the wax hard and brittle, it can then be scraped off carefully. See second way.
Also if the wax is not to thick place some paper towels over the wax and with a WARM iron heat it until the wax is absorbed on to the paper. PS. Next time check all the pockets

Thanks for the advice!
That is a great idea
thank you! this is very usefull for me .
