How do you REALLY clean a teenage bedroom and keep it that way?

Question:okay, i've search the web for answers and I can find any that really work.
I'm a normale 14 year old girl who has ALOT of stuff with a REALLY small room. its really hard for me to keep my room clean and for it to stay that way.
But how do you really clean a teenage girls bedroom that's easy and fast and doesn't take longer then 1h? How do you keep it that way?
please help and fast

Answers:
I call it pack or pitch- Pack the stuff you would like to keep but not using on a daily basis. Lable the box and sore it... and the stuff you don't use at all "pitch it" or give it to a charity like Goodwill.

To clean your room focus on one thing at a time until it's done. There's no short way of cleaning your room unless you just want to shove all of your stuff under your bed! Anyway, once your room is completely clean you have to keep it that way b checking for messes every day. If something looks messy and unorganized, clean it up.
Declutter! Get rid of all the "stuff" you really don't need. Other things that you don't use on a regular basis - pack them up, label them and put them in the attic or the garage. If you find after one year you never open the boxes; then, toss them.

The easiest way to keep a room clean is to have less stuff in it. There is no other way; otherwise you're just a caretaker for your stuff.
Put as much stuff as possible in boxes. These don't need to be drab - you can paint them or wallpaper them, or draw your own designs. But this will make a small bedroom look more tidy.

I shouldn't worry too much. Most teenagers bedrooms are a mess. You are unusual in that you CARE !

And remember there is a vast difference between untidy and dirty.

Well done.
haha. im a teenage girl myself and have that exact problem. i can clean it and within a day it can be messy again. but i just recently got rid of a bunch of stuff .. and its helped a lot. so i recommend going through EVERYTHING and trying to get rid of some things you don't use anymore. some stuff might be hard to get rid of .. but in the long run it will really help in keeping a neat room and after a while you'll forget you ever got rid of it.

also, rearranging things could help .. move things around and find a setting that leaves the most floor space.
14 or 41, the answer is the same. Put everything where it belongs, then never touch anything in the room EVER AGAIN. Ha! In all seriousness, life is messy, so you clean it up. again and again and again and again and again and again and again.it never ends. It just becomes less annoying. ...sort of.
Anything you haven't moved or used in a month, get rid of it! NO! Don't replace it! Put shoes in the closet with the clothes. Make your bed the first thing in the morning. Yes, even before you go pee, you can hold it. Quit eating in your room. Carry the empty glass back to the kitchen. Once you get the room straighten up. make signs on post'ems showing where things go.
Consider what you really need to have in there,, and have wall shelving for it, or closet organizer. Perhaps store infrequently used stuff, some where, like the garage, basement, family room,,, ask mom and dad about that. By the way,, I have a 14 year old grand daughter,,, and I am glad you wish to have an organized room. It is very, very important to keep all aspects of you life organized. when you have something neat and clean, you will feel so much better about the room, and yourself! have fun!
You will need a few small & large thin plastic containers. If your closet is full... Use one or 2 large containers for out of season clothing... these you can store under your bed. Organize things like school supplies in one container; cd's, dvd's etc in another... everything can be organized. Make up can be put into a nice flat bottom basket for quick identification & purses/shoes can be stored in totes instead of the closet floor. Just stack 'em up! You can organize your drawers with clothes, too... one just for nightwear, one for tee shirts, etc. All of this will take some time to begin with BUT once you get things organized, it will be so easy to put something away after you use it. Voila! Things stay clean!( Use clear containers or "totes" so that you can see at a glance what is in them.)
OK!first of all why wouldn't you clean your room thats gross if you don't.that is my only place for privacy .that is kinda like your castle you have to keep it clean.unless you want bugs and everything in your room .put all your stuff were it belongs so you can find your stuff.if that don't work i don't know what will.hope this advice works.
Get rid of most of that stuff. You probably don't need a lot of it anyway.

When you asked this same question yesterday I provided a lot of useful and practical detail but since you are still looking for your favorite answer I will try a different approach this time.
I would get rid of anything you don't use anymore.Maybe put in a extra closet rod for your clothes and perhaps extra shelving.
Just try to find a home for everything and put items away as soon as you are done with them.

To really clean a teenagers room you have to get everything out of the room first, then clean it from top to bottom, next clean all furniture before moving them back in the room. Then you need to clean or wash everythimg that goes back in the room, throw out the rest- and to keep te room clean- keep the teenager out of it.
