Hello There!
Use a solution of Vinegar and Baking Soda. If you can, put it on a rag or some kind of cup to hold it on the taps and faucet for a few minutes. Your taps will shine like new.
bar keepers friend if you need an abrasive that does not scratch or vinegar
As the other posters said, vinegar and baking soda. If the build up is heavy you may need to scrub it with an old toothbrush.
Use a limescale remover, sold in most supermarkets.
May need a couple of applications if it's thick.
Some people use vinegar but I've not found it that effective.
Remember If you have it on your taps it's in your kettle yes.
Also your heating system and washing machine. Likely
to cause premature failure of all of these, consider having
a water softener fitted. Central heating systems can have
Furnox added to them to reduce limescale and sludge.
Try CLR (calcium, lime, rust).let it stand and wash.
there is a product that you can buy at any supermarket called CLR it means CALCIUM, LIME, RUST. It works excellent too. and its not too expensive
Squirt Viakal on the deposits, leave for ten mins then give them a scrub with an old toothbrush. Lots of scale might mean a few goes.
Have you tried Viakal, it´s very good for this, Harpic is good too
