You'd be amazed at what is growing in a vacuum. Make sure your friend changes the bag or filter very often and he can try spraying inside the vacuum with Lysol or some other kind of disinfectant. Make sure to wait until it has completely dried before using it again. I'd also suggest using one of the powdered carpet deodorizers on the carpet before vacuuming again.
It's not cheese. It's probably foot odor from walking barefoot on the carpet. Try a carpet freshner with baking soda.
use 1001 spray and vac should stop those dairylea smells
Had same problem.
Smelt like a well matured stilton cheese. lol
Chucked out carpets.
Put down laminate.
Bought new hoover.
Fresh air now.
Or a cheaper way is to 'shake & Vac' and put the freshness back.
Try putting a scented Fleecy sheet in the vacuum bag this should make it smell nicer.
my hoover smells lovely!
It could be the hoover bag, that´s if your hoover has a bag, put a new one in. you can also buy shake and vac, this will make your carpet smell fresh, or you could have your carpet steam cleaned
You should but a smelly bag into the hover bag , its all the things you have hovered up that is starting to smell or change the bag .
i know that you can buy vaccum freshners that you pop in the hoover bags. they sell them in places like wlkinsons and superdrug
