How to remove a child's accident fromt the carpet?
Question:I woke up this morning and my nephew ( only a toddler) had taken his nappy off and trampled poo into my cream carpet. Bless him he tried to clean it.... with my black face cloth .. how can I clean it? please help carpet is only 6 month old and is attatched to the whole of the stairs!

You need a product that works on organic stains. If you look for carpet cleaners that work on pet stains, that should work. I live in Kentucky and have used a product called Kids "N Pets that is really good and also Urine Gone which works on any organic type stain. Good luck!
Go to the store and rent a carpet cleaner. They are like 20 bucks.

Try using vanish, but you'll probably have to repeat the cleaning a few times to get rid of it, avoid heavy scrubbing if possible.
there is a product called no wet wonder foam,you see it a lot on tv shopping channels but it is a great product.if you live in the uk there is a similar product by jml,it can be bought in woolworths,wilko or pound stretcher

Pour liberal amounts of club soda on the affected area and blot with paper towel staright away. If the odour is still there the next day, cover the area with about 1/4 inch of baking soda and let it sit on the carpet for two days, then vacum. This will soak up the smell and any moisture left in the carpet.
I would use the no wet wonder foam but if that does not work get some washing powder in a bowl with hot water (that you can stand) make sure that the powder has disolved and slowly rub it into the carpet. Leave it for a while so the hot water soak in then it will lift the soiling a little and make it easyier to get up.
