Why did my Mop N Glow floor get sticky?
Question:Dog hair and debris stick to it. How do I fix this or prevent it from happening again?
Answers:
Don't use mop N glow... Heck, i didn't even know that was still around. It has always sucked.
Sounds like you didn't dillute the cleaner with enough water. Try a thinner mixture next time.
I had the same problem...less mop n glow more water should do the trick or use fresh water and go over a second time.
You will have to buy floor stripper and strip the vinyl floor. You are now finding out why everyone hates vinyl floors. Hardwood and tile for me. That is all I have in my house except for a few rooms of carpet. Then you can apply the Mop 'n Glow and it won't be sticky.
That sounds horrible! I have no idea how that could of happened. Maybe it is from what you used on your floor before. Now you have an odd chemical reaction from the two? Just a thought?
u would have a mop n glow floor, wouldnt u
Because you should have scrubbed and striped your floor, then hand waxed and buffed it instead! Nothing is more satisfying then a nice shiny floor that you worked hard on! Mop-N-Glow is cheating.
All you have to do it mop over it with clear water. You have too much mop and glo and not enough water.
I think with most floor solutions even swifter the solution is too rich it needs to be dilute with water.
