FOR ALL GLASS(especially windows in home & auto)---POUR ORDINARY VINEGAR INTO A BUCKET/CONTAINER OF WATER---USE CRUMPLED-UP NEWSPAPERS---cheap & effective!---REALLY "CUTS" THE OIL(S) & GREASE THAT ARE PRESENT & SEEM TO BE A "MONSTER" TO REMOVE---IF IT ON A CURVED SURFACE , YOU CAN USE A BRUSH TO LIGHTLY 'SCOUR' IT WITH THE VINEGAR-WATER SOLUTION!
What kind of stain?
simple household bleach should do the trick. Remember glass is crystal, and scrubbing won't get into the micro scratches that make up the frosting. a bucket or something you can submerge it in should work just fine. about 1/4 to a gallon.
