How do I get rid of body odour from a jacket? It's dryclean only but don't want to clean yet as it's only new.

Febreze works wonders.
Fabreez (Spelling?)
Try a little steam on the inside and a good airing out in thw wind. If that doesn't work then in a spray bottle put some water and a lttle white vinegar and spray the inside of the armpit with the solution, then air outside to dry it off.
Fabreeze stinks of perfume and is just going to add to the smell, it does NOT neutralize it.
If the jacket is a size that can fit in the bag, you could try one of the dry clean at home kits, like Dryel. Otherwise, Febreez should get you by. If you check the coupons that come in your mail, though, there are usually 30-50% off coupons from a local dry cleaner, so maybe you can get it cleaned just as cheap as buying the dryel or febreez!
Downy and Fabreeze make spray on freshners that do not have any perfume in them. (For people who are allergic to them.) That should freshen the jacket to wear again. With that said, you still need to take it in and have it cleaned or the odor will set in the fabric. Once it has done that then any time the fabric gets warm it will have that same odor.
i make a paste of bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and that seems to work or just a paste of bicarb put it on where needed ( underarms etc)then wash in machine as normal. I have used it on vintage clothes and seems to work someone else said vodka good luck dude
Spray it well with lavender.
You can try in a small amount of fabric like a ltlle sachet put some baking soda and tie it up so that none will leak out then put the satchets in each of the arms and around the collar then put it inside a box and close it up for a couple of days. This will help absorb some fo the odors, you could also try puttin some dryer softener sheets in the arms and pockets once you have done the baking soda trick, this will give it a nice scent.
Hang it out on a sheltered porch/veranda where a breeze can get at it.
Surprising what a bit of fresh air can do!
only can dry clean it. maybe spray it with deodorant.. but I think your out of luck, gonna have to do it..t
