i take it its a trenchcoat right? well be careful not to use any shitty oil or paste on it or anything as it might mould..id suggest either taking it to a good shop that sells leather coats or look up cleaning techniques on the net...but trust me you dont want to use the whole cleaning product range as it might turn the leather orange or mouldy! hope this helps!

also beware of having bulky items in your pockets - they can stretch them and make them baggy
Don't forget to care for your stetson in the same way!
you can always use a soapy sponge on it but never use detergent on leather. that will clean of mud slashes or general grime
