How to clean the sugar solution off my old wooden acoustic guitar?

Question:I spilled sweet tea on my wooden acoustic guitar. The guitar is an old Gibson from the 1950s. How can I clean the sugar solution off the wood without damaging the veneer on the old wood?

Answers:
Use a moist cloth - washrag - and let it sit for a bit. Your wood surface is protected by the varnish. Don't throw in the pool, but just wet it and wipe her off. I had a few Gibson guitars and a banjo. You got the best. Sorry, to the Martin people.
