Why is the "broom" evolving?
Question:The most perfect tool ever invented and it's advancing for what purpose? It's simplicity is it's genius. A stick with bristles!!
I mean how lazy do you have to be to buy Roomba to clean up after your filthy ***?

I still use my broom, I don't like all those new gadgets( swifer,Roomba) etc..=)
I still have my broom! Alot of ppl are using those swifters as they say it picks up the lint fuzz alot better and they have small stick vaccuums with the cup dispenser. I have heard that ppl are tired of sweeping with a broom and stirring the dust up so they changed to other methods like swifter and small vacs. Alot are doing this because of allergies!
I like my Swiffer-type mop instead of a traditional broom. It does a better job of holding onto the dust and crumbs, so more of the dirt ends up in the trash can (and not just redistributed on the floor). Instead of disposable covers, though, I use flannel cloths; they work almost as well as the disposables, but are cheaper and probably environmentally friendlier.
But no Roomba for me!
