Would it be safe to add bleach to fabuloso brand all-purpose cleaner, to make it a disinfectant?
Question:i love the smell of the fabuloso, but it is not an antibacterial or disinfecting cleaner. i need the germ killing power of bleach, but i am sick of the smell. the fabuloso does not contain ammonia so i was wondering if i would be able to add some bleach to the fabuloso. that would save me from cleaning everything twice!
Answers:
No, you should avoid mixing bleach with other chemicals. Adding one teaspoon of bleach in a gallon of water, will not be strong enough to disinfect. Clorox's website says to "Create bleach solution using ¾ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach per gallon of water" and that it needs 5 minute contact time.
Don't add bleach to anything, the resulting fumes would probably kill you.
Don't mix bleach with anything.haven't you read the warning labels that say don't mix chemicals.you can possible make poisonous gases that can harm you.
I have added bleach to Fabuloso, I only added a small amt but one teaspoon in a gallon of cleaning water will disinfect. I had no problem with the mixing of the two -no smell nothing.
