When you were a kid and had to do the dishes??
Question:Did you ever hind them around the kitchen!! I hated doing dishes and I used to hide them in the cupboards and in the oven for my mom to find later!! HaHa!! Luckily I grew out of that!
Answers:
No I didn't but this reminded me of something.my sister and brothers and I always had to clean the house on Saturday morning while my parents went grocery shopping...we had a low antique buffet and my mother always remarked how NICE and polished it was when they got home...little did she know that we sprayed it with polish and got a running head start and slid across it by on our butts ( pajamas) the game was to see who could fly the furthest across the room...LOL lots of fun!!
We had a dishwasher, so doing the dishes in my house when I was a kid was never a big deal.
I would have gotten my *** beat for that.
No sounds a little odd/and gross I might add. I liked doing dishes clean hands and clean dishes are nice.
my step daughter actually LOVES to do the dishes.she begs me to let her do them
Obviously I dont decline
No, i never did that.. I was conscious enough to know that my mother was a busy woman who worked all day, came home to cook every night, did the laundry and cleaned the house... The least i could do was wash the dishes right!
No but I used to throw the dog poop over the fence enstead of bagging it up. LOL.
LOL that is funny but I am 12 and I still have to do the dishes UUH NO FAIR my bro doesn't do anything but junk up his room and make the computer slow:(
no, I just did the dishes. why hide it when eventually you will have to wash them
Wow- I can only imagine how bad your kitchen smelled
I use to leave the pots and pans in the oven. Ha!! usually got busted and had to do them later.
Oh yes the oven was my hiding place too! ha ha until my mom scolded me then I quit doing that and washed and dried them the right way! This is really memory lane!
I've always hated doing chores and still do. Thank god we have a house maid.
Ya, I used to hide them under the sink(Ha Ha) only the laugh was on me, see my mom passed away when I was nine so I relly wasn't hiding them from anyone but daddy, I was the one that had to wash them anyway. All I did was make it harder on myself, dumb yungun! LOL ( me not you)
hahaha! thats funny but if i ever did that i would of got the hell bet out of me because i was raised better than that and after the fact i would still have to do them so why hide them get it over with because my mom would of said your not going anywhere for like 2 weeks but im spoiled so idkk get it over with.
Yes, every night and I still do dishes as an adult.
If I ever did something like that,I would heard it until the next century. In fact,I hate a pile of dirty dishes.I always make sure my dishes are done everyday
No, I wasn't a lazy and spoiled ungrateful twit like you, so I didn't do that. Besides I didn't mind doing the dishes. I figured it was the least I could do in appreciation for all the good home cooked meals I received.
Besides when I was a kid we always had an automatic electric dishwasher, so doing dishes wasn't a big deal anyway.
Yep,I did them- kids need chores! My son is responsible for loading/unloading the dishwasher a couple of times a week and he gets to clean the bathroom, too. It's good for you!
PS I never hid them... although I could see how it's tempting!
That never would have occured to me. I did the dishes because it was the right thing to do.
You could be worse. My stepdaughter didn't want to do dishes so she broke 9 bowls, 8 plates, and threw away all but 3 forks.
No I never thought of that! My butt would of been sore for a week if I pulled a stunt like that. We had a dish washer and my sister and I would take turns.
Now picking veggies in the vegetable garden or picking cherries! Now I can tell you stories of that. Cherry fights and bean fights with little sis. And boy did they hurt! lol
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
yes, I knew you hide them and I always found them. You didn't do that for long, my dear. And thank GOD you outgrew that. Love ya
