My new 400 TC Cotton sheets are crinkly! Help!?
Question:I have just brought a new bed set of 400TC 100% cotton sheets. I put them through the washer and dryer (just as the instructions said) and they came out all wrinkly.
Is this a trait of cotton linen? Am I going to have to IRON my sheets everytime I wash them?! - or is there a trick I can use to help prevent all these wrinkles.

All my higher thread counts sheet come out wrinkled and yes, I do iron the pillowcases and the top portion of the top sheet. It seems to be the nature of the quality. But the softness is so worth it.
just as dawn b said, yes this is the nature of high quality fabric.
you see, people who can afford high thread count sheets can also usually afford the housekeeper to iron them. LOL
unless of course, like me, you buy yours at Marshall's on sale.
Try using fabric softener--now they even have the kind that helps eliminate wrinkles-supposedly--haven't tried it, so dont know if it works.
try hanging them to dry on a clothesline--does anyone still have one of those?
Also, wash only the top sheet & pillowcases in one load, then the fitted sheet in another.
Of course, no matter what, my sheets always get wrinkled at night, or sometimes during the day when my hubby comes home for lunch. *wink*wink*
