Help cleaning my room!?

Question:now, i'm done with cleaning the rest of my home. now i need help with my room. i'm a teenager and its a complete mess! clothes everywhere; books and papers overflowing in the desk. i can't even find my laptop.(using mothers office computer) so could some one make a checklist or something for me to use? it'll be great! or even some suggestions i only have about 1/2 hour.

Answers:
Okay , collect all the dirty clothes & leave them in a pile next to the door. you take them to the laundry room later, all clean clothes to the closet. Once that is done, if you can find a box, put all your paper work in it, you will deal with them later. Find another box. and all the bit´s and bob´s that´s around pop them in. Sure it will look better if you do this. Then if you read my last message to you. Tomorrow you do 15 min´s here and there in your room. I once had a room like your´s , until my mother got so fed up telling me to clean it. I did´t listen . so she jucked everthing out the window, so it was even harder to get everything back in on my own. Never had a messy room after that.

make different piles of stuff then put them in their right place
throw away things that u dont need
You sound like several teenagers I know: start with your clothes, put the dirty ones on a pile and hang the clean ones neatly in the closet, shirts together, pants together, jackets together. Then sort out your lingerie, clean stuff neatly folded in a drawer, dirty ones in a pile,to be taken to the laundry room together with the other clothes. I think you are now on your way to do the rest yourself, you are getting the idea. Right.
Start by putting the dirty clothes in a basket. Fold the clean clothes and put them away. Then put the books away. Stack the papers on your dresser or desk as you find them. Remember to have a garbage can close by, so that you can throw it away as you find it. When you are done putting things away, take a few minutes to sort through the papers. Don't forget to vacuum!! Best wishes in your cleaning.
I am a neat freak and the first thing is I hope you have more than thirty min. to clean it up. When you begin to clean seperate the clothes from the books and papers, etc. Place these items in seperate piles on the floor. After you do the piles, Start with one pile at a time and that way you don't get frustrated and just start to throwing things together, to get them out of your sight. It sounds like you may need to set aside about 15 min every three days this is time that you spend just reorganizing the messes that you made a few days earlier, that way you want have to put a lot of time into cleaning and your room will never really get messy. I know that this seems like a lot but you wont have to ever do the big clean up thing again. (GLG)
