Why is bublegum so sticky?

It is NOT made out of whale fat, and I really doubt it ever was. It's simply because its loaded with sugar, and when mixed with saliva, the sugar is dissolved and gets all sticky. Sugarless gum doesn't stick nearly as well as those with a lot of sugar.

LOLOLOLOL cuz its made of whale fat.... or at least it used to be.... use peanut butter if its in ur hair.
