Anyone know how to get permanent marker off the dryer?

Question:The inside of my dryer looks like a Pollack painting. Any suggestions on how to clean up the mess?

Answers:
Alcohol will be the mildest solvent for the permanent marker. Get the 99% alcohol, not rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol is diluted with water and oil and won't clean as well.

try nail polish remover. just be prepared for the smell!
try alcohol or acetone on a cotton ball. you might have to scrub but it should help. make sure you let it dry out completely with the door open.
I would try either isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball, or a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser.
Get some Goof Off or Goo Gone at Home Depot or Lowes. It will take it off. Keep it handy. It works on almost everything but plastic.
Mr Clean Magic Eraser is the best invention in the world for cleaning !
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
If none of the answers so far did the trick this will buy a can of opps! it will take it off in a snap ! I have had to use it on marker stains, crayons, pens etc from my children and does not strip the paint just has a strong odor but it will fade in a few min.
Expo White Board (dry erase) Cleaner is my secret ink stain lifter. I've found nothing better for removing all types of ink from just about any surface.

I discoved it's magic while trying to remove ball point ink stains from the pockets of my husband's dress shirts.
