I have a silk dress with mysterious yellow stains in streaks, how do I get rid of them?

Question:My dress is sheer and lavender and I dry clean it regularly but the last time I tried it on I realized there were yellowish rustish, light but noticable stains running in streaks across it. I've been told they are from food left on the dress and it settled. But I haven't worn it since it was cleaned why would the stains be there? I don't rememember getting food on it,, that would be noticable. When I first noticed it I thought the cleaners used a too high heat setting because I noticed a small stain like the large ones maybe 5 months ago after taking it to the cleaners but thought I was imagining things. Please help. Is there anything I can do or should I just retire the dress?

Answers:
I would take it back to the dry cleaner´s where you last had it cleaned, Ask why this would happen, They will give you the right answer. and if they don´t offer to clean the dress for you, even half price, Then go somewhere else. Sound´s very nice your dress, no point spoiling it more ,

try oxi clean! it works really good!
Sorry, I don't think you'll be able to get the those stains out of silk. It sounds just like what you thought. Cleaners companies are about impossible to work with.
dry cleaners ha.
