How do you get blood out of a blonde colored carpet after its been there after a week?

Question:

Answers:
We have 2 kids and the offwhite carpet in our house looks practically brand new after 8 years thanks to using an 18 oz aerosol can of a carpet cleaning product called CAPTURE SPOT ELIMINATOR -- Instantly Removes Tough Stains -- Works Hard on Grease & Oil" I always keep a spray can handy with a tough short bristle brush and it works wonders (Note I also hide it from my kids bec I caught them using it and wasting it unnecessary). CAPTURE products are trademark products of the Milliken & Company, Spartanburg SC 29303 and you should be able to buy a spray can (comes in other forms but aerosol spray is TOPS!) in Home Depot and Lowes near the flooring section for approx $4.00 or so. Good Luck!

yikes! the best thing to do would have been to get cold water on the stain immediately (this keeps the proteins from all sticking together), Try seltzer water (club soda) first, and then try that Oxyclean stuff. It really works, despite those god-awful commercials. Don't use hot water on blood, and if all else fails call a professional
That depends on how much blood you've got there. I'd try cold water and dab it on with rags followed by some hydrogen peroxide if its just a small spot or two. If its more than that, you can try a professional cleaning service or replace the carpet.
You may not believe this, but a friend told me to try WD40 on some tar someone tracked on my carpet and it came up. This may work for blood also. Be sure to test a small area first to make sure it doesn't hurt your carpet.
Is this a crime scene? Just wondering ...
if u have puddles, use oxyclean, it gets read of the dna type so the police, cant tell whos it is
Hydrogen peroxide, is the product to take blood stains out, If that doesn't do it, then take dish washer detergent and use that, what you need is an enzyme, and that is contained in the detergent. Mix it with a little water and make a paste, the scrub it out. then rinse with clear water. After that blot with paper towel and let dry.
hmmm...what have you been up too? JK LOL! get a glass of luke warm water and pour it on the spot then use a bar of soap called Lye rub it into the stain and let set for a few minutes then blot (never scrub) it out. It might take a few times but it should work. If it still shows up rent a carpet cleaner and go over it.
