Best tool to dust hardwood floors?
Question:What is the best tool to dust hardwood floors.
Answers:
We have a Swiffer rechargeable electric sweeper that works great on our ceramic tile floors.
a very soft dry mop
I always use one of those sponge mops and some murphy's oil soap
Strap a paper towel to your mop. Spray 'Pledge' onto the paper towel and mop the floor with it. The sprayed wax should catch the dust from the hardwood floor. Works wonder.
Ace
if its just to dust then you could use a vacuum cleaner with the tool with the brissles, if you want to give it a light clean to then use a very very slightly damp mop!
Vac the floor & get up all the dirt, soak a dust mop with liquid oil polish, (just damp) dust floor & wipe up any spills right away.
I agree with the one answer sweep the dust up off a hardwood floor the best way to keep hardwood floors maintained. also Get spills up as soon as possible whatever you use to clean the floor make sure the mop is damp not wet. And plenty of air flowing to dry.
Put a pair of fuzzy socks on your feet and some great 50/60's music on and dance and slide around on them. Lots of fun and you get a clean floor.
