I need to clean my room by friday?
Question:I need to clean my room by friday, but my room is such a mess u literally can't see the floor???? wat do i do now?
Answers:
start with laundry, organize your stuff while its washing, fold the clothes put them in your closet and and vacuum/sweep your floor and voila clean as a whistle
Take a bag and shove everything in there
First, you need to pick up those things from the floor. Throw away the things you don't want. If they're clothes, either fold them or put them in the hamper. Then, just make sure everything looks well organized. No cluttering.
Get some containers and start sorting the mess. Start by removing the things that do not belong in your room. Try to keep focused, once you get off track you loose interest.
Start in one corner and have four piles, throw away, hang up, launder, and put away. Once you get the mess sorted the cleaning comes easy.
Get a big garbage bag & toss the stuff out.
start with the floor because if you clean the bed and stuff off first then you may take a break and never start it back up
why don't you get some storage boxes if you don't have. And put as many things as u can neatly into them so they fit.
if you have clothes on floor too then put them in closet whenever you get ur hand on one of the clothing item as you put things in the storage boxes.
and anything that you think u won't use in long time THROW away--keep a trashbag near u so u can easily put things in it
at the end when everything's neat and put away, throw the trashbag or if u have clothes that u want to throw away too since u don't use them, put the clothes in a separate trashbag that you would donate or just throw away in normal bag if u don't want to.
all this takes usually 2-4 hours. so take heart that it won't last all day and night so start getting to work NOW!
Hire someone.
Orginize and try as ahrd as you can to prevent it from becoming messy if you do no more messes to clen up
Good luck!
Start by bringing in a garbage bag. Go around your room and get rid of all of the trash. Then, take out all of your dirty laundry -- just put it aside for now. Next, start to organize. Get totes. What things can you donate/sell? Put those things in one tote. If you have tons of books, for instance, put those in a tote. As you fill the totes remove them from your room. Dust, wash walls, vaccum, clean blinds, etc. Line your closet floor (or move to the basement) with labeled totes, get rid of anything you don't use, and wash, fold and hang all clothes that you are going to keep. Plan on spending a few hours on your room and work when you are most energized. Plan on finishing everything and don't stop until your done. You will feel so happy when its complete. Make sure to reward yourself when you are done!
Sounds like you have way too much to take care of or appreciate.
1)pick up all dirty clothes put into garbage bags and do laundry
2)pick up all clean clothes and put away by folding, sorting, and hanging. *Great opportunity to set aside anything that you don't wear and donate it to charity or throw it away
3)put all dirty dishes in dishwasher
4)throw all garbage away
5)wash your bedding and make your bed
6) wash your windows
7)vacuum your room
Try to stay organized, being messy will be a huge disadvantage to you in life(i.e. you lose things, you ruin things, and it's just not hygienic.)
Get a big bag and a shovel, start diggin. Tie bag shut when all is inside. Carry to curb or nearest dumpster. Make bed, dust, clean floor. Turn off light, and close the door. Do not go in until Friday, otherwise you will probably have to repeat.LOL
Hm..Sounds like a big mess! That's what happened with my room last week. I literally couldnt see the floor and I didn't know where to start! Well here's some help:
-throw all your dirty clothes in the hamper
- throw all your trash..that means stuff you DONT need anymore away
- organize everything into a neat pile
- vacumn the floor
- dust the room
Well I hope it helped! :)
Take a deep breath and keep calm. That's most important. Give yourself a specific task each day to complete.
Day 1: Big sort. Do a general sort and make piles or used bags/containers to help sorting. Paper stuff in one area, clothes in another, etc. and as you are going through it throw out obvious trash items as you get to them. Also make a donate/get rid of pile for items that you no longer want but are still usable.
Day 2/3: Put in loads of laundry in the washer & dryer (if you have them at home) if not then set aside a day to go to the laudrymat when your cleaning is done. Pick a pile and go through it one at a time. This breaks down it to more managable incriments and won;t overwhelm you. If you have 5 piles, try to go through as many as you can on Day 2. If you can't get through it all in one day, then expand to Day 3. Once you are done sorting get rid of the trash pile and the donate pile ASAP. This will free up a lot of room.
Day 3/4: If you were able to get through everything on Day 2 or early on Day 3, you are now ready to clean. Dust, vaccum, etc. This is also a good day to get that laundry done and to drop off donated items if you haven't done so by now.
The biggest thing is to not let it overwhelm you and take little steps to conquer a big mess.
GET BUSY ASAP AND KEEP IT CLEAN
Organize like things together. First do books and magazines. Then do clothing, wash, or put away. Decide what could go to charity and make a box or bag for those items. Try to reduce clutter. Take out all trash, bottles, cans etc that may have accumulated. Keep a file for school papers and one for notes or correspondence. You can also keep one spiral in your room for things to remember/do. Then you don't have tons of notes laying around. Vacuum and dust last.
When cleaning a room always start from the top and work your way down.
Dust/wash walls,windows,and shelves (if needed)
Organize bookshelf/anything on your walls(if you have one)
Take all dirty laundry and put it in a bag to carry to washer
Take out all garbage(includes anything you don't think you would miss and really isn't needed(magazines, scraps of paper, clothes you don't like or never wear etc..)
Wash your bedding (all of it including your pillow)
Put clean clothes away
Put everything in "it's" place (if it doesn't belong in your room or out in the open stick it in the closet or put it where it belongs such as dishes or undergarments..maybe stuffed animals)
Wipe down everything that collects dust with a moist washcloth(including walls/nicknack's)
Vacuum/sweep floor
Also it is always good to spray some Fabreeze or some kind of fabric refresher on your curtains or clothes in the closet or even your bedding just to add to that clean room feeling LOL!
Just remember to do what you can in 30 min and take 15 minute breaks every half hour only if you think you need it. You can do a lot in half an hour especially if you play your favorite music in the back ground. Good Luck!
just start picking up and putting eveything in it's place and before you know it you'll be finished
first you go through and sort out all of the dirty clothes. if there are any clean ones, fold them or hang up and put away. next sort out the garbage and throw it away. then just sort through things by matter of necessity or the last time it was used or needed. fill up a bag of things to donate to charity. by the time you get to the floor all of the items there will either be money, marbles, bead or anything that is smaller than a pencil eraser. l'm sure that you will be able to sort out these things by matter of importance to you. the key to keeping your room clean is to always put everything in it's place ie. clean clothes, dirty clothes, garbage, whatever. and to also get rid of everything that you don't need, or if you think that you have to save everything put those things in a plastic storage box with a lid. and store away neatly. hope that this helps. once you get your room clean it is very easy to keep that way.
Lets see - I clean my 13 year old's bedroom and I start with the clothes. I have the laundry basket with me and start throwing all the clothes in it. Next I tackle the bed and make it. Then I go for all the dirty dishes, trash and any thing else. What you have to do is pick something and just start with it.
Do it in babysteps. Clear off once piece of furniture per day or one square of your room per day. Trash as much as you can, donate even more. The less you have, the less you have to clean up in the future!
