Something no one has mentioned is VM&P naphtha. We use it in the furniture industry to remove adhesive, it works extremely well and leaves absolutely no residue. It evaporates almost instantly, and won't affect any finish.
Try Goo begone and if you are in a hurry try peanut butter and that should remove the sticker!
i would first try some alcohol...let it sit on the stickyness then wipe off...
Smear olive or veg. oil on it, wait a minute and rub off with a paper towel. You may have to repeat if there is a lot of residue.
There are comercial removers but oil is the safest method.
try goobegone or skin so soft
Make a paste by adding a small amount of water to some baking soda. Then, using a paper towel or and old toothbrush, scrub the residue using a circular motion. Good luck!
WD-40 works well to get rid of the stickiness
Follow up with some soap / detergent to get the oil off
NOOOO...
don't use any of those thngs..
It's marble. You need adhesive remover.and you probably have some in your bathroom right now. It's called nail polish remover.
Goo gone does work, but so does using a piece of scotch tape. Use the sticky side to "pull up" the residue. Put the tape on the spot and then take it off. The residue will stick to the tape. It will take a few "pulls" but I've done it.
Be careful what you put on marble. It's a soft stone and you could stain it. I recommend warm soapy water and lay a rag on it and let it soak a while.
There is a product called "Goo Gone". It is safe on most materials. Test it in a small conrer to be sure if you have doubts. It is made by Magic American Products in Ohio
Good luck!
Use nail polish remover with acetone, it will eat thru the sticky residue.
try (GOO GONE )it removes Grease,Gum,Stickers, Crayon,Tape..
I agree with the rubbing alcohol but I would apply the alcohol on a cleaning towel or rag then wipe the marble. Also if that does not work I accidentally discovered using Hand Sanitizer one time at an office I was cleaning trying to get adhesive off of a black marble counter top. The last resort would be WD40 I have used all three of these products. When ever using cleaning supplies I always apply to cleaning towel then surface.
