Does anyone know about an all in one washer/dryer?

Question:I saw it on tv...I know you can buy them on line but I would like to know if anyone actually uses them and are they any good...they can be quite costly...thanks.

Answers:
LG makes one. One of the issues is the size of the load you can do and the time it takes to actually do a whole cycle. A few hours from beginning to end. So if you have more than one load to do, it would take a long time. They seem to be energy efficient, just not time efficient. Also you would need to wash things that would need the same kind of washing and drying treatment at the same time.

Never heard of an all in one washer/dryer.
I've seen that too...I'm skeptical about them because they cost as much as 2 washers and a dryer. Then what happens if it breaks. You cannot wash OR dry. I mean the laundromat may be used to wash while repairs are made...then you still have your dryer..I'm getting close...but I'm not that quite lazy enough yet to not want to put clothes from the washer to the dryer..heck...they are already sorted, right? Kinda reminds me of the new self flushing toilet...how lazy are we getting anyway? If you get one I'd like to hear about how you like it.
