Help! i dropped a bowl of chilli onto my cream colored carpet! it's still looking a bit yellow from the turmer
Question:ic and spices...tried plain baking soda with water, don't have vinegar nor bleach! also used an upholster cleaner: resolve..and my oxiclean for the bathroom not the carpet version...what can i do?

Capture from Home Depot. It is great stuff. If not, try spraying it with Spray and Wash or Shout and leave it on for 24 hours. Then try steam cleaning it.
Call the professional in the am for a same day service, you will probably have to pay an emergency fee, but isn't this better than a ruined carpet.

Use hot water with dish soap and a scrub brush. Just a little at a time. Then rinse with hot water and a rag. Then take a dry towel and step on it to absorb excess moisture.
You might try a spray spot remover.
Try a little hydrogen peroxide . I've found this to work well for many stains on light colored carpets and fabrics.
