How do you get lent and hair out of laundry?
Question:I line dry my laundry and get tons of lent and dog hair out of the washer is there any way to remedy this? Is there something I can clean in my washer? I pull the drain hose every week and do a load of just bleach water and strain the top to help cut back on this, plus I do smaller loads than normal and severly sort things because perma press items are worse when washed with knit items. Please some advise. It shouldn't always be like this should it?
Answers:
Always turn woolens and knit items inside/out when washing with other clothes and this will lessen the lint, you can also add one cup of White Vinegar to your rinse cycle instead of using fabric softner which you pay more for anyway, and vinegar is much less expensive and will clean your wash and make it less static cling it also lessens the lint and will soften your whole wash without added fabric softner, once you have done all your laundry with this solution you can then just add on your next laundry loads some vinegar to the rinse water just pour some in the fabric softner dispenser and it will keep the lint down for you.
Or you can use this idea in a dryer if you have a dryer, I know you said you line dry but this idea you can use if you do decide to use a dryer, Lint remover
Add a yard of nylon netting to your dryer with the wet clothes - it will catch most of the lint.
Good Luck !
Don't put your dog in the washing machine with your clothes!
