Help! I just spilled candle wax all over my shirt! What do I do? It's getting hard...?

Question:Should I soak it in hot water? put it through the wash? will it come out?? or is it ruined??

Answers:
to remove wax put a paper towel over it and iron it.
the paper towel will absorb the wax and take it right off.

Put it in the freezer then peel or scrape off the hardened wax, never add liquid! I dont know what the material is but this has worked for me , good luck!! You will have to treat the stain left behind by any dyes or oils in the wax. You may be able to use hand dish washing detergent for this. Just dont dry the garment until you are sure all of the stain is out as that would set it.
Let it harden and it should come right off.
just soak it in hot water, you'll be straight
I agree with the papertowel method and iron the wax off - I actually tried this for a sweatshirt sleeve that I got wax on and the freezer method did not work.

Just put the papertowel on the wax and the iron will draw the wax up into the paper, so you move the paper towel around enough you will eventually get all the wax up.
