How stupid was this? gum...?
Question:ok so they other day i threw my gum out the car window as i was driving and i didn't see till next day it had stuck to the door/window,,,,so that when i didn't think, and rolled up the window, the gum smeared and is now all over my car door window! please tell me how to clean it off.thanks!

get a spatula and go at it with some dish soap to scrub it off after you try your best at scraping.

LOL- Buy a little can of Goo Gone- it's at Walmart or Lowes, You can find it in the automotive part if it's not with the regular cleaners. That stuff will take it off in a heartbeat!

goof off is a cleaner that works pretty good on gum. if not then i would look for an industrial degreaser and a spray it on and take it off with a razor blade
orange oil cleaner! or something that dissolves gum, look for it at the supermarket

Man that sucks. Someone squirted some sticky crap all over my car the other day and it worked like a charm...
Well one thing I can think of is to get a can of compressed air, and hold it upside down and carefully spray it on the gum. Holding the can upside down will make liquid come out that will actually FREEZE the gum very quickly, and it can then be broken off. The remnants should be able to be cleaned off afterward with hot water and soap.
If you use this method, just be very careful not to spray any of the liquid on your fingers. The stuff I am talking about it just literally compressed air. It is usually sold in electronics and computer stores and used for spraying dust and stuff out of keyboards and computer components.
try ""GOO GONE" you can get it in any hardware store. It takes off gum, sticker goo and all kinds of sticky messes! It will definitely clean your window!
WD40 or a product made to remove gunk, Goo Gone is the only brand I know offhand.
Try pouring turpentine , just a little, first take off the smear, then place it on the window and keep opening and closing the window.
With summer here, and the heat, it should evaporate the messy gum caught in the window.
Next time put it in the trash...nobody want's to step on your gum!

Use a cleaner like goo-gone and then scrape the gum off with a razor blade. You won't scratch your window, but be careful and don't cut yourself...
Goo Gone takes out everything. You can get it from Walmart too, but I seriously use it for everything and its amazing. Its made with orage and will seriously do everything.
