Cleaning question:?

Question:My grandchildren had a thing of grey silly putty in their pocket in the wash. Got most of it caught in the pocket, but a glob got on one of my brand new towels. I have picked much of it out but there is still a bit left. HOW do I get this stuff off my towel?

Answers:
Try putting ice on it like you would for gum. I also think peanut oil is supposed to work.

Try putting another, thin towel over it and ironing it on high steam. This works for candle wax so it might on clay. Good luck!
Try putting the towel in the freezer, then chipping it off - or try that stuff called "goo-gone" or something similar.
Good Luck!
Try a product called Goo be gone. Or just by a new towel!
Put clothes in freezer;once frozen chip off with using butter knife;if putty starts to thicken use ice cubes;running over remainder of putty and continue to chip with butter knife.
If it is just one towel you may want to try to put it in the freezer, after it is really cold the putty should peel off.
You can also try holding an ice cube on the putty and try to peel it off that way.
If it is a whole load of laundry you may have to buy new towels!

Good luck
I think WD40 takes it out. Try www.wd40.com
