I use a power washer and dish soap on mine and it works really well. Granted, you'll need to make the judgement as to whether or not the material of your cushions is suitable for this. My cushions are sort of a vinyl material and take the power washing just fine. Also, this type of cleaning will not cause the material to fade like bleach can.
You could also take them to a car wash and use the high pressure spray wands there if you don't have a power washer or a neighbor with one you can borrow.

I agree with the first answer with the bleach diluted with water.
Bleach. You can use water and bleach. Or just bleach if they are really bad use gloves for your hands. It works for me ,good luck.
