How do i get my window air conditioner to stop leaking on my carpet?
Question:i have it as straight as possible.

Same answer as jennifer but also insure the drain tube is clean, so it doesn't back up.
It shouldn't be straight, you need to slope it so the water can run off outside. It will work better if it can drain properly. :)
put something under it to catch the leaks.
-attach a 5 inch diameter hose,.
it should'nt be strait it should slant out so the water runs out side.

move the carpet to another room
There should be a hole underneath, on the outside. Figure to lean the unit in that direction slightly for runoff.
