Washing machine in rented apartment?


Question:The lease doesn't specify anything about washing machines. The landlord is charging me 30 bucks for it. It has accummulated to 190 bucks. Am I required to pay it? I live in the bronx-NY

I live in California. I would call Fair Housing in the government section of the phone book (or internet search). They will tell you the skinny on your financial obligation.
