How do I tell if blood stain?

Question:In my Bath room I keep seeing these red stains all over the place. There mostly light red and seem very stuck in as one is in the shower itself and has water running over it but still it remains. The floor is covered in that plastic carpet stuff and it remains in that. I would have thought that blood wouldn't really be able to remain in this sort of material? So probably some sort of dye?

Answers:
ADD SALT. soak these area´s in cold water then add salt. leave like this till you see the stain removing. If it is blood then the salt will lift it out

What you are describing sounds more like rust stains. Use a product for hard water stains like CLR which stands for calcium, lime and rust.
Did you kill someone in your bathroom? lol just kidding!! The one in your shower sounds like a rust stain but if you pour some hydrogen peroxide on the ones on the carpet and it bubbles, it might be blood.
Put some kitchen salt on the stains and if the stains start to go away with the salt it's blood. Good luck.
It also could be the beginning of mold/mildew. If the hydrogen peroxide doesn't bubble up, try straight bleach as it kills mold & mildew.
