wash it with kerosene, cook it in an open fire, burn it off, then hang it outside and let it rust, then clean the rust off.
Scrub it with an abrasive clorine cleanser, then rinse good.. Then put a good vegetable oil in it and put it in the campfire to season it again.
Add warm water and baking powder/ baking soda. this will remove most off it , if not all. Put enough warm water to cover the oil stains, add the powder and leave for 10- 20 min´s
it is cleaned by petrol...
warm water and Dawn dish detergant.
Cast iron is great for cooking, indoors or out. If you need to reseason a pot/skillet try this:
° Fill with a solution of hot water, some degreasing dish detergent (like Dawn), and baking soda. Let sit for 30 minutes.
° Scrub with a scouring pad, removing all of the blackened patina.
° Rinse well
° Dry well with a cloth/paper towels
° Put on stove top and heat for 3-5 minutes over low flame, just to finish the drying process.
° Let cool
Now, you have to reseason the pan, restoring the patina and preventing rust:
° Lightly coat with VEGETABLE SHORTENING, inside and out.
° Place in a 300°F oven for 30 minutes
° Let cool, wipe off excess shortening with paper towels
When you store it, put a dry paper towel inside to protect the seasoning from any other pots you might nest together.
After each use, wash quickly with a slightly soapy rag, then dry well and lightly coat with vegetable shortening. (You don't have to put it in the oven again.) Wipe out leftover shortening.
Don't use oil because it can become rancid.
