How can I keep the clothes in my closet smelling fresh?
Question:I have a small closet in my apartment where I hang my clothes, but they always smell kind of musty when I take them out to wear them. Any way of keeping them smelling fresh?

Cedar blocks will emit and wonderful scent and will also keep moths from eating your woolens. Another trick, keep bars of nice smelling soap in a wicker basket on the shelf. They keep the closet smelling nice. You can also fill a panty hose leg or sock with nice smelling popurri and refresh it now and again with a pleasant scent. Just tie the sock or pantyhose leg to the closet rod.
hang sachets in the closet and if there are any shelves get scented drawer liner. i would also keep the door open as often as possible

When I was living in a small apartment with a microscopic closet I would put unused (fresh) dryer sheets right up the arm of some of my longer sleeved shirts. When I would put the shirts on then the dryer sheet would fall out or I could easily grab them. I placed them all around my closet, in the corners and such. Another thing you can do is use TIDE w/ Febreeze, it has a long lasting fresh scent that you can smell for days and the scent is not over powering.
car deodorants..i know it sounds strange but they work..which ever kind you prefer..spread them around & keep changing them..good luck..

I have a couple of ideas for you. My mom uses dryer sheets but they get dusty. Cedar chips, sachets, ferbreeze, poparri or car deodorants. You can also leave the closet door open and let it air out.
