go to yor pet supply shop and get some kennel wash, it's disinfectant but it is safe to use (diluted to manufacturer's instructions) indoors as you would normal disinfectant.it has deodoriser in it too.I used to use it in my kennels and on the kitchen floor,you could use it on the sofa too, its brilliant. If you have wee or sick smells on the sofa,car or carpet mix half surgical spirit with equal amount of water and spray on the smelly area it gets rid of smells.works really well too.

put a small amount of washing powder in warm water,... this will clean and remove any smells,,, so your dog won't do it in the same place .
Don't use any ammonia based cleaners like bleach as the underlying smell is the same as pee and will cause it to pee in the same place again. Steam cleaning lifts the smell

I can suggest , a little lemon juice and a small amount of ammonia
after washing the area use white vinegar to rinse it will eliminate the smell

Just a normal disinfectant should do but then wash with non bio washing powder solution afterwards remove the smells that the dog can pick up which will stop him from doing it there again! bicarbonate of soda is great for removing smells but I would do a test patch on the sofa first!!
