What's the best way to clean your floor so baby can crawl around?

coming from myself(a mother of a 1 year old), i am obsessed with keeping things clean in my home, especially floors. what i do is this: sweep the floors with a big broom first, then take one of those small, hand duster/brooms and get in the corners and under cabinets really well. i then fill a bucket of pine-sol and water( with a little bit of bleach), and i hand mop the floors. when you are down on your knees, you are at the eye level your baby will be at, and so you can spot out things that your child may be interested in grabbing or putting in their mouth. standing up and mopping, you are more likely to miss a crumb or two. anyway, just use a rag and mop away! be sure to open any windows to keep the room ventilated, so your baby won't inhale the harsh chemicals. i don't let my floors air dry either. i use a towel and mop up all excess water.
bleach water is one way and Lysol is another
Try sweeping it and cleaning it with Pine Sol or other floor cleaner. Don't worry too much about dirt. You child NEEDS dirt to help him/her develop immunity to a lot of common diseases that humans (particularly in the US) are becoming less resistant to.
Let them play outside and eat dirt. You have to eat a peck of dirt before you die, ya know!
sweep it first then instead of mop use a rag and any good floor cleaning product and get down on your hands and knees.using a mop just pushes everything around and into the corners, this way you can make sure there are no little pieceso f trash that the baby can put in there mouth and choke. other than that just let them have fun on the floor.all my kids did and they turned out fine. be prepared to clean some dirty knees too as you are not going to keep them clean from crawling around
I'm a mom of 2 one who is almost 3 and the other almost a year old and I am anal about my house being clean but keeping my floor spotless for the kids is a rare thing. Depending on what type of flooring you have. If its like stuff that goes in the kitchen or wood sweep it really well. Take your vacuum and use the hose part and go along the walls or corners to make sure you get everything then i would say mop it with pin sol. If its carpet vacuum it and then shampoo it
Little dirt wont hurt though. It may make cleaning your lil one up a little longer because his or hers knees are gonna be dirty
wash with warm water and vinegar
