Does Woolite replace laundry detergent?
Question:Im planning to buy a bottle, but I don't know if I still need laundry detergent? Can you use fabric softner with Woolite? I know Woolite keeps you clothes looking good, but if it does replace laundry detergent, does it remove stains well?

Yes it is..Its like better than detergent and clothes that you dont want to fade..For stuff like you would send to the cleaners.
yes woolite replaces detergent but it's for fine washables not just everyday clothes, yes you can add fabric softner to the rinse cycle and you will need something else to help with the stains.
Mainly Woolite is to be used on delicate fabrics or wool ,that are to be washed in cold water and by hand . I really think that you should keep a bottle on hand for those, but you still need the laundry detergent for the rest of the wash.
Woolite is a gentle detergent and can be used for handwashing or in the machine. You can still use fabric softener as normal. If you have a tough stain but don't want to use harsh chemicals or bleach you might try Oxi Clean; you can wet the stain and rub some of the Oxi Clean in, and it will dry into a paste. When it's dry, just throw it in the wash -- it works better than Shout! (Plus it does double-duty as a tub and tile cleaner for us.)
