use sugar soap, that seems to do the trick without too much elbow grease. Just make sure you rinse it proper.

just put some vinegar on the limescale it works like a charm
any one those cleaning products clr bam limeaway but you can also use a grill type scrubby pad do realy get scrub it walmart home depot has them there either black or the white ones at walmart they are athick scrubby that work great.
use lemon oil. works with no effort.

use a hammer and chisel that always works .
Lime-away works great. You may have to repeat this a few times ifs it really built up. I used it on my shower door, and now it's beautiful. Good luck.
