Natural Alternative To Dishwasher Soap?

Question:Does anyone have a natural recipe for dishwasher soap??

Answers:
Personally, I use "Dr. Bronner's" soap for EVERYTHING!

I have been using this line of products for over thirty five years, and would not use anything else. They are organic, and natural products. Always have been, always will be.
You might pay a little more, but it's worth it. Buy the big gallon size. You will save some money.

You might want to water it down a little for the laundry, and such, because it is concentrated. A few drops go a long way.

Other soap makers have come and gone, but Dr.Bronner's has withstood the test of time. It has been made since a little after WWII, and is still in production today.

There are different scented soaps, and all have a pleasing aroma. I like to use the peppermint soap instead of expensive flea baths on the dog and cat. It's good for those deer ticks that we seem to be plagued with here in the Northeast.

The lavendar soap is what I use for most things around the house. They get things very clean, and they smell nice, but not that artificial nice, that you find in so many products these days.

Try it, you'll come to love it.

Try water and lye. Have a good day!
# Borax - (sodium borate) cleans, deodorizes, disinfects, softens water, cleans wallpaper, painted walls and floors.
# Washing Soda - or SAL Soda is sodium carbonate decahydrate, a mineral. Washing soda cuts grease, removes stains, softens water, cleans wall, tiles, sinks and tubs. Use care, as washing soda can irritate mucous membranes. Do not use on aluminum
#White Vinegar - cuts grease, removes mildew, odors, some stains and wax build-up.

Dishwasher Soap: Mix equal parts of borax and washing soda, but increase the washing soda if your water is hard.

Dishwashing Soap: Commercial low-phosphate detergents are not themselves harmful, but phosphates nourish algae which use up oxygen in waterways. A detergent substitution is to use liquid soap. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of vinegar to the warm, soapy water for tough jobs.
I use products that are nontoxic and safe for everyone and the environmet. I order them online, it's great. If you'd like more info click my avatar and email.

Good luck!!
