If you leave a tent in your car boot/trunk how long until it gets mould on it?

I would not leave it in to long, Its hard to tell when it will happen , However it will . Try to keep it dry , Lay it out in the sun to air out when you finished fold it up put it in a bag and try to keep it air tight, Good luck
I'm not sure why it would get mold on it - if you put it in a sealed plastic bag or container, and the tent is dry - how will mold get into the tent?
If it was wet when it went in, pretty quickly. I live in a very humid area and if I leave clothes in the washing machine overnight they get moldy, so you will want to get it out of there fast. If it was dry, it shouldnt mold.
