How do i get chewing gum out of a womans slinkey top?

Question:"how do i get chewing gum out of a womans slinkey top? HELP ITS MY FAVOURITE"

Answers:
I read thru all these answers and normally I would agree if it was carpet or hair. This is your favorite top!
no way would I try to put peanut butter on it. peanut butter has so much oil...it would spread all over your blouse.
This is a job for the cleaners. I learned my lesson about the cleaners when I got gum on my nylon parka and tried to take it out with PB...what a mess and I wound up donating a 160.00 coat. however...hair spray takes out lipstick :) I learned that too!
Pay the 7 bucks and get it done right.
